Music Genre

The genre we class the Song as is Indie Rock , we categorized the music to this style because we researched into different bands and spotted that "License to dance by John Youseman" sounds similar to Kaiser chiefs which are an indie rock band.Both bands use similar instruments to create their music and therefore,they have a similar outcome to the sound of their music.

To help Sarah and I pick a song, we used our Ipods and music libraries on our computers to find music we was interested in.We also used other peoples itunes to find the right song.This was a good idea because we would listen to a wider range of music.Another way for us to find music was going on Youtube to listen to songs we might not have found.After listening to all the songs Sarah and I would select our favorite songs ,which we believed had most meaning to the lyrics .You can see the songs choices what we came up with in the "song choices" post.
