filming 2

The second time filming Sarah was the only person to be there, this was due to Alex being at work and I was on holiday. The venue was a hall in Eltham , we chose it because it was cheap and easy to use.The filming was better then the first time with the correct movement but the lighting was not good and the scenery did not look right. So we would have to arrange another film shoot.

Final film shoot

Filming 3

The final time we filmed was the first time we all filmed together, this proved very usual hence why the footage was good enough because we communicated well and worked good as a team.We would swap with each other on filming so that each member of the group participated in the filming. While one person filmed the other two would talk about the next shots to film making the filming process run very smoothly.

Filming 1

The first filming took place during december when it snowed , because of the snow i was the only person able to get to london to film the video.I got there two hours late leaving me with only two hours to film. This made it very hard to film good quality footage. The venue also had a problem the lighting which i was guaranteed had broke meaning i had to gather as many lamps candles as possible which still was not enough. When i came to school the next day Mrs told me the camera movement was not right for the video which was correct (it was to still). So this meant the group would have to film another day.

Song Choices

The first step to making the music video was picking a song, we had loads of song choices but when it came to thinking of ideas or narratives the songs were not good choices.Another reason why some of these songs weren't chosen was because they were to well known for example The prodigy - Invaders Must Die .The song is great but in order to make the video ,it would have to be up to the standards of prodigy videos which are extreme .The good thing about our song choices is that we have a mixture of genres of music meaning all different style videos could have been made so we wasn't set on one choice at the beginning

You Me At Six - Underdog
The Bloody Beetroots ft. Steve Aoki - WARP
Jon Youseman - Licence to Dance
The Bloodhound Gang - The Bad Touch
The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die
Good Charlotte ft. M. Shadows and Synyster Gates - The River
Billy Talent- Surrender
Shinedown - 45
Rhianna - Disturbia
The Prodigy - The Omen
Avenged Sevenfold - Bat Country
Faithless - Mass Destruction

The song Sarah and I chose was "Licence To Dance" by a friend John Youseman .The reason we picked this song was because we liked the style of the song and we wouldn't need copy right for the song because he is a friend. We could also use the band members for the video , which would be a good thing because they know how to perform their own songs as a group.

This is our song choice above
